Nature the Light Keeper
Τhe first jewellery piece of humans would have been an amulet.
Jewellery is not an essential item. And yet, it has always accompanied the most powerful human needs: protection, loyalty, praise, distinction, power, immortality, partnership, coupling, provocation, love, vanity, and, of course, beauty.
Cosmos in Greek means jewel and it also means the world.
The world for Greeks is beautiful like a jewel. Beauty surrounds us, Cosmos teaches us.
The jewels of this collection obey the archetypes of nature, they shine the light of the world.
All necklaces have names from Greek mythology, names of women, nymphs and goddesses, names that have remained forever bright in history.
The collection was exhibited in November 2007 at the Gallery «Psychari 36» in Athens.
