Residence in Vourgareli, Epirus 2023-2025

The residence was designed to serve the needs of a family and at the same time meet the requirements of tourist accommodation. The main concern was flexible design and the possibility of functioning as two separate residences. Also, integration into the environment and respect for the proximity of a traditional monument.

The design features include the preservation of local typology in terms of volume and materials, and openness to the environment, especially the view of the mountain panorama.

Police Headquarters Piraeus

A multi-purpose centre that houses the Piraeus Police Department's public service offices, the administration, the all-day support facilities for the police officers such as the preliminary school, the restaurant, the dormitory and the training department, underground parking and the detention and prisons department. The building was designed as a bioclimatic building.

The proposed development of 260.00m2 is a low density mixed use tourism oriented development.
The architectural team has been selected both for their design ideas but also for their integrated planning approach taking into account all aspects of sustainable development.

• The art workshop "KunstErleben" was organized to meet the needs of a comprehensive cultivation of children and adolescents, to give them joy and self-confidence and to open doors to the world that the program of basic education and the average organization of their social life cannot.

It operated successfully for one year (2011-2012) as part of the activities of the Cultural and Sports Association of the German School of Athens.
The children came into contact with a variety of materials, tools and types of art. They learned to collaborate,  experiment with different materials and methods and respect. They had a great interest on the history of art. 
Unfortunately the financial crisis negatively effected the participation, so that it came to an end after a year.

• The Art Experience Workshop, "KunstErleben" at a private level.

  The art workshop "KunstErleben" continued for another year on a private level as the enthusiasm of the children was great.

In this private workshop, as there was no longer the commitment of school hours, lessons could be organized more flexibly to accommodate all children, especially the high school students who had very heavy school schedules. Οutdoor lessons, excursions and nature observation were also made possible, which sparked the children's joy and interest.

It operated during the 2013-2014 school year. Unfortunately the financial crisis had affected all families to such an extent that it was impossible to organize the workshop for a second year.

Artistic and cultural field of activity.
The residency aims at an international public interested in art and culture-residency local and what it has to offer.
The type of organisation is a short term rental accommodation for private or shared space. 

The house is located on the hill of Ververonda on a 4180m2 plot with an unlimited view of the sea. It is used as an art & culture residency as well as a holiday house for relaxing and being inspired.
Ark of Art aims to bring people closer to a specific object, to offer additional knowledge as well as the acquaintance with people of common interests.

It offers unique spaces with positive aura and the opportunity to work and be inspired in tranquility nearby nature.
